Type I (cem I) pure clinker

Pure Portland cement, highly recommended for high initial strengths such as prefabrication and prestressing.

Type II (CEM II)

Portland cement with additions, very suitable for general purpose reinforced and mass concrete with normal strength development.

  • 32,5 (R o N)

Type III (cem III) normal/slow setting

Cement with blast furnace slag, with high age strength development, not recommended when fast concrete performance is required.

  • 32,5 (N/SR)
  • 42,5 (N/SR o L/SR)

Type IV (cem IV)

Pozzolanic cement, recommended for large volume concretes such as dams and low performance concretes such as soil stabilisation.
